It can be said that when two worlds collide, often a better one will be created. When Elaine Childress of Portilla Design and Judy Tackett, respectfully known as The Grateful Gardener decided to team up together, Portilla Home & Garden was created.  Located in historical downtown Rosenberg, Texas, a unique shopping and creative experience awaits. Judy Tackett's love of gardening and history of re-purposing with passion leads to unusual and truly beautiful and unique container garden ideas for the home.  Elaine Childress' passion for antique and vintage furniture re-imagined and updated for modern homes with Annie Sloan CHALK PAINT® and wax become unique statements for the discerning furniture buyer. Portilla Home & Garden strives to inspire others to appreciate what is available in our local area, display and collect timeless and classic pieces and create a home that is uniquely yours!
